Eco-Friendly

At Foxholes Castle Camping, we aim to minimise our impact on the environment whilst providing low cost holiday accommodation and benefitting our local community.

We began developing the site in 2006 and are in the process of renovating neglected buildings, clearing overgrown vegetation and improving the site with new planting and fencing. 

We encourage the use of environmentally-friendly detergents for the benefit of our drainage system.

We have a large re-cycling area for bottles tins plastics and cardboard. Re-cycling is encouraged at the Foxholes. 

We have built another new Toilet and shower block.With  solar power to heat hot water and with rain-water harvesting and a re-established well for additional toilet flushing and cleaning down water.
